Campaign Finance Reform:

I believe that money is the root cause of what is wrong with our political system. That is why I am not raising any money to finance my campaign. I am not beholden to any special interest groups or political insiders, and I am going to remain that way unlike my opponent who regularly raises hundreds of thousands of dollars every time he runs for political office. I will spend my own money to finance my own campaign and I will abide by the State imposed limit so that I don't need to organize a campaign finance committee. I am not waiting for Congress or the Oregon Legislature to pass campaign finance reform. I am conducting my campaign as if it already exists. Instead of raising money I will stick to raising public awareness of important issues and offering viable solutions.
