Political Purification

1. A Primary election is like a refiner’s pot, or a political blast furnace. You put the raw ore in on the one end and you turn up the heat in order to get out all of the impurities, so that the strongest possible metal, or in this case candidate, emerges at the other end of the process in order to challenge your opponent in the General Election.
   
   
2. If we have full disclosure on our own candidates in the Primary, then whatever we learn, either good or bad will be old news by November, and there will be no October surprise!
   
   
3. If we don’t dig up all of the so-called “dirt” about our own candidates in the Primary, then all of the bad stuff will surely be leaked out, one incriminating piece at a time by the Democrats, all the way through the General Election, and all the way up to November, and the Democrats will save the worst stuff for the month just prior to the General Election!
